On arriving at the swimming pool with my 4month old i was about to pay when the fire alarm went off and we were all evacuated. The fire assembly point was beyond where my car was situated in the carpark and it was raining. I decided to take my baby to grab a coffee whilst the evacuation took place rather than wait in the rain.

Hence i too was charged £95 for being 8 minuted over the allowed parking time. I appealed to G24 stating the fire alarm had caused me to go over the time and they informed me this was not grounds for appeal...so what is???

It is day light robbery. I have still not paid and would rather be taken to court than pay that fine..
