"Phenylalanine"

I have a question regarding your Robinson's squash drink. I want to find out exactly what Phenylalanine is and wether you obtain it from from mammals breasts milk!

On the bottle it says suitable for vegetarians, so please could you help me clarify what it is.

Also, I've read that Phenylalanine can cause mood swings and I don't think this is a good thing, as children tend to drink it the most. It can cause behavioural problems, is it neccessary to put it in the Robinsons squash drink???
