Very Disappointed

Called to book over the phone for a meal for my wifes birthday (between Christmas & New Year). I left reservation details as per answerphone instructions and heard nothing in reply. I repeatedly tried to call to confirm the booking and was met with the same message. We arrived to a closed restaurant! No notice to say they were were closed Christmas week on the door or answerphone. I left my phone details when i thought i had booked, i have not yet had an apology!!.
