I have also just received a notice of prosecution from the police for doing 40 in a 30 at the same spot. What is ironic is that I believe that speed is often a problem and have been active in my own area in trying to reduce speeding vehicles....I made no attempt to slow down from 40 to 30 as I actually though it was a 40 as the rest of the road seems to be 40?. I am not from the area, and would appreciate it if anyone who knows would tell me where the 30 signs are, how many there are and how big and clear they are, as I can only presume I was doing what the gentleman before me was doing, watching signs, other cars, etc so must have missed the sign. I presume that there would be more than 1 sign if there is a camera, or one might cynically preseume that the camera is a source of revenue rather than a deterrent? As a law abiding citizen, I feel agrieved at being made to feel like a criminal. Well done Norfolk, great for the tourist industry! .
