"Parcel left on street"

Driver left parcel at front door in street but filled in the tracking as met customer.

We were in at the time tracking said the parcel was delivered, no knock on the door, no ring on door bell. This is not the first time this has happened. UPS drivers seem to think it is acceptable to just leave things at the front door rather than actually delivering them to the customer. They probably do this because it is quicker for them and they want to finish the round and/or they are being given much to do and don't actually have enough time. Might explain why drivers also do 40mph in a 20mph zone where children are playing..
