"Incredibly rude person behind counter sold me wrong part and wouldnt refund me"

OK, so its a breakers yard! So what should I reasonably expect? Well, Ive been there before and bought equipment from them without any problem. LAst week I bought three items totalling £70. The most expensive item was £35 and after stripping out my car door to fit the part, I found the part was actually for the other side door. Faced with the car in parts on a sunday afternoon I took the faulty motor out and repaired it myself! I took the part back to Cit-Ren and asked for my money back but was told I would get a credit note. I asked for my money back as a credit note was no good to me. I was told abruptly that 'thats our policy'. When I pressed him on it he said I would be lucky to get a credit note! Ive checked to see if I can find their T&C's but cannot. Given the menace that I just encountered, I can only suggest that you buy from them with caution. Remember, they supplied the wrong part. Their fault, not mine.
