"Out of Hours Doctors"

Yesterday evening I dialled 111. I had never used this service previously and it was absolutely fantastic! Very bright & pleasant woman took my call, collected details and then gave me an APPOINTMENT for 11.15pm at Bowthorpe Rd Community Hospital. When they say 11.15.... they mean it! No 4 hour wait in A&E.... the doctor came and collected me bang on time.

The young lady doctor was an absolute joy: I am sure there was little joy for HER working a late shift but she gave me care and attention far beyond what one would expect even in one's own GP's surgery.

I congratulate whoever thought up this scheme which I believe is only available in the Norwich, Yarmouth & Waveney area. Further, I congratulate all the people involved with, and working with, this scheme. It is brilliant..... and so are they.
