"Customer service??? not a clue !!"

We live nearby and the lovely riverside location and recent refurb of the building are the only positives. Previous visits have resulted in severe disappointment ( and worse ) but, after 4 or 5 monhs, we decided to give it another go...on a bank holiday monday, when you would expect them to be prepared to be geared up to offer some sort of service. Arriving at about 1 pm, we had a pleasant drink and went to order food at 1.20pm ( hardly mid afternoon ) to be told they were so busy they could not take any more orders. There were 4 tables outside and one inside occupied and noone turned up in the next half hour so what about that customer service......none available here so owners obviously had something more important to do than serve their clients. Avoid, as we and many other locals already do..
