A review of Capricorn Cameras by Pele Mannering written on Friday 22nd of April 2011
It's always good to go into a place and find a master of his trade, and that's what you get here. As a keen and proficient photographer in his own right, advice is interested and professional. I wanted a camera that felt right, in my hands and in my head. I didn't like the feel of the new Canon (brittle and plastic) or the idea that the very nice Nikon tied you in to Nikon more than I wanted. Always liked Pentax, which is what he uses, but left with his recommendation and been very very happy with it. In fact, one photograph has made the short list for an exhibition in Canary Wharf (gulp!)
I've been back!.
