"Hethersett Social Club"

In response to a somewhat petty review that has been posted, I feel it only fair to give a "real" members point of view.

The social club, is always busy when events are booked, and advertised very well. However, if members do not come in very often they will not know which entertainment that will suit their tastes. This actually requires members to come in more than once in a blue moon, which in turn supports the club too. I have lived in the village for the past 6 years, and have never had a bad experience with any of the staff.

Yes, Sky was cancelled, and the decor may be a bit dated, but as the club is purely funded on what comes thru the tills, what do you expect? You can't have it both ways. Either put your money over the bar, or don't and watch the club go down the drain. I for my part will do my best to make sure we do not lose such a valuable part of the village. Also, members were given 2 full months to renew memberships, so to complain about not being allowed in after this is in my opinion just pettiness..
