In relation to the reviews of others, I would just like to point out that the cost of sky was over £520 per month, an expense that the club could not justify at this time. It wasn't something we were happy about doing but unfortunately it wasn't supported enough to pay for itself.

As for taking out before the membership was due, this was done on purpose so those few people who did only come in to watch the sky didn't feel cheated by paying their membership and then Sky was taken out!

As you may notice, when the Social Club have entertainment and events on, we do have some great busy nights, as we did on Saturday March 5th when we were packed out, and bank holiday weekend Karaoke's.

of course we do have some quiet nights, but so too do the other pubs at times, i'm sure you will notice that a lot of their custom is due to the food they serve!

We have a lot of regular members who use the club on a regular basis, and a lot of support from those who know and care about the place!
