"Yes. Dead as a DoDo! Hethersett Social Club"

I concur with Andy totally.

I play football for Hethersett, although I do not live in the village.

I have been to the Social Club a few times after home games, but have been disappointed with the welcome by the staff behind the bar.

The place has so much potential, and it isn't about the credit crunch, as if it was, there would be more people in there as it's cheaper than the local pubs (Queens Head - new woody pub - nice food, and the Kings Head - real ale - but for locals only! Unfriendly place and a little cramped).

I believe that Hethersett Football Club have links with the Social Club, and cheaper membership options (not sure about the detail), but when you link up with a football club and then get rid of Sky Sports, it just seems really stupid and naive.

I will not go in there again, but stick the the city pubs where I can watch football, even though more expensive.

Shame on you Social Club..
