"Loss of a once great local...."

Popped in for the first time in a while on my return to norwich to find the pub is now operating as a music venue (despite its size and poor acoustics). the new landlord made us feel extremely unwelcome(closed early complaining he was tired...it was quarter to eleven!) and the place was practically empty. The Adnams was not at its best. this pub was always something of a gem in the city centre, feeling like a friendly local with lots of regulars who all seem to have disappeared. we wont be returning on our next trip to norwich! .
