A review of The Dormouse Bookshop by Jason Moore written on Thursday 22nd of July 2010
Came upon this shop for the first time today. Can not believe I had not heard about it before considering the owner has been selling books in Norwich for 20 years.
The current shop which is where he has been for the last ten years is in Elm Hill (worth a visit anyway as it is a beautiful street).
The shop is small but he manages to pack in a huge diverse stock.
I bought a large number of children's books, however he also had a large local history section and an equally large military history collection. The fiction books run against the back wall and I could see a lot of crime fiction as well as many other titles.
There is also 1000 or so penguin titles.
I must say this is by far the best bookshop in Norwich and the owner is happy to chat ( unusual in this trade I have found).
All in all if you like books you should find this shop a joy..
