Having avoided the maid due to a very bad experience with the food when owned by nikki and simon i am glad to report that new owners andy and lynne have surprised me in the quality of their food and drink and the most warming of welcomes to the pub. i would reckomend the food and drink to anyone and eveyone i know.in my view one of the best family friendly pubs i've been to!.
