"You will be in for a long wait with rude staff"

A review of Umbertos by Ddyer written on Tuesday 23rd of March 2010

8 of had a meal on Saturday 27th March. The table was pre-booked. We didnt order any starters yet had to wait for more than an hour for the mains. There was no communication let alone an apology from staff. When we asked why it was taking so long, we were told that we had all ordered pizzas (it is an Italian!!) and there was only one pizza oven?? We asked for a round of drinks on the house; the waitress at first didnt understand our request, she then said she would speak to the manager; we didnt hear anything else from her. They then had the cheek to put 10% 'service' charge on the bill. I am all for supporting local businesses but they have now lost atleast 8 customers. Please do not go there..
