A review of Tesco Stores Ltd by Mrs Rosemary Taylor written on Thursday 11th of February 2010
Can I ask why this store does not provide adequate seating for customers who have completed their shopping in order that they can wait in comfort for their shopping companions.
My 70 year old friend who gives me transport was left standing for 10 minutes while I completed my spell at the checkout. She had just completed a spell of shopping lasting 75 minutes to find that both the two chairs provided were occupied by elderly customers obviously with a similar need of a brief rest.
There is a considerable space available for more seating & we cannot understand why you have not thought to address this issue. I had spent £72 in your store & my friend a similar amount; this surely deserves some small degree of hospitality
